January Wrap Up

This month has been full of illness, blogging and eating left over Christmas food. See what books I’ve read, what I’ve watched and what’s coming up in February.

Books Read in January

1. Silence is Goldfish

2. Under the influence

3. The Tattooist of auschwitz

4. She must be mad

5. Unboxed

6. Second best friend

Some of my favourites included The Tattooist of Auschwitz, Silence Is Goldfish and Under the Influence. She Must Be Mad and Under the Influence are both short poetry collections.

If you subscribe to my blog, you’ll see when I publish my reviews for these.

What I’ve Watched

1. Instant Hotel

2. Back With The Ex

3. An Idiot Abroad

4. Grace and Frankie

5. A Series Of Unfortunate Events

I really loved Instant Hotel because of the whole bitchiness and competitiveness there was. It was like Come and Dine with Me and Four In. Bed mixed into one.

I also liked Back With The Ex because it’s so different to anything I’ve seen before.

A Series Of Unfortunate Events lived up to expectations and I’ve waited my whole life for this. The Jim Carrey film (sorry Jim) just wasn’t up to par.

What’s Coming Up

Oliver’s birthday is on the 3rd February and our anniversary is on 16th so we have some exciting times coming up!

In terms of bookish things, I have an evening with Hank Green in London at an event coming up! And plenty more to get through to hit my reading goal this year.

How’s your blogging month going?

Until next time, love, Vee x

  2. Hope this got you to 1000 views 😉 I never noticed this post at the time and I love seeing what people have been watching/reading!

This instant hotel sounds right up my street so I think I might have to give that a go!

I’ve completed all of Grace and Frankie and I just love it!

Excited to see more about what you’ve been up to this month.
