What are the best chocolate syrups



Actually, I don't even have to write anymore ... Chocolate in liquid form is super universal and fits on ice cream, on crepes, on pancakes, fruit, waffles, in hot milk and also pure, tablespoon by spoon (but please: pssst !!).

For me, chocolate is an elixir of life, similar to the cookie monster cookies 😉. Cookies with chocolate syrup could turn the whole thing into infinite enjoyment ...

But enough of the daydream, I'll tell you the recipe, which is really super-easy. I found it at the curio shop. There it is promised that this is the best chocolate syrup is far and wide and I can confirm that 100%. Its secret is definitely the addition of coffee, it tastes full-bodied and simply perfect!

  • 300g sugar
  • 25g dark chocolate
  • 20g / 2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 125g hot coffee (I made it in the mocha pot)
  • 50g water
  • 50g baking cocoa

Chop the chocolate and put them in a saucepan with the other ingredients. Cooks the syrup on, stirring constantly. When the chocolate is completely melted, you pour the hot syrup into one clean bottle and let it cool down.
