Should I take part in CAT classes after +2

Sailors of the Dehler 30 one design offshore class

The Offshore Team Germany around team manager Jens Kuphal, Michael End and their two skippers Robert Stanjek and Morten Bogacki ended the successful German mini campaign and relied on the Dehler 30 one design for further sporting development. Jens Kuphal, who has observed and supported the development of 30 one design from the start, sees the Racer-Cruiser recently awarded “European Yacht of the Year 2020” as the perfect training boat for German offshore ambitions for The Ocean Race 2021 / 22 and the 2024 Olympic Games in Marseille.

Anders & Peter Juul

The Sexy Beast team consists of the brothers Anders and Peter Juul. They have both sailed from optimist to crew aboard various keelboats for most of their lives. In 2017 they bought their first boat, an X-79. After 3 years of very successful sailing, the X-79 has been replaced by a Dehler 30 one design, which you received in mid-August 2020. Her plans with the new boat are mainly to take part in double handed regattas. This season Peter and Anders plan to take part in regattas for 9-10 weekends. Lots of races in Denmark, but they will come to Germany for the Baltic 500 and probably the IDM of the Dehler 30 one design in September.

Björn Demmin, Thomas Jünemann, Thomas Schurig

A passionate team of amateurs - Dehler 30 one design sailing and thus one-class sailing is something different than following the ORC circus. In the end, we succeeded in performing boats as a hobby sailor in this area with our M34, success came. If Thomas S. hadn't said there was something new, let's do it together, things would have turned out differently we haven't regretted anything! What we like best is the versatility of the boat, so that we can also go on holiday with it. We will certainly not be at the really big events, but we will continue to spread the idea of this beautiful boat class on the Baltic Sea.

Xavier Bénéteau double-handed racing in Brittany

"Move On Up", the boat is in the port of Le Crouesty Arzon. Xavier Bénéteau is the owner (has nothing to do with the French boat builder!). In his first year, Xavier will be sailing in a few regattas in Brittany with his boat.

Andreas Deubel

After successfully participating in Mini Transat 2017, I decided to take a little break first. No ship of their own, only short missions in different classes, if at all. With open and interested eyes I followed the development of the Dehler30 onedesign class. When Hanse Yachts AG approached me to get involved in the official trailer for the boat, it was finally over to me and I fell in love with this classy concept. With the renewed win of the X-79 championship I left the vagabonding between the classes and ordered the GER 22 "Calle Dr. Antonio Jorge Aguiar". The name for the boat comes from a whim that arose during the stopover of the Mini Transat 2017 in Gran Canaria.

Paolo Rama

Once a great champion, today still a lover of fast sailing!

Martin Reintjes

An italianized german guy, formerly a world campion of Melges class.

Will participate to some regattas in Brittany.
