You can accept payments as soon as your Stripe account is connected to your webshop. Stripe processes all of your transactions.

8 - How often does Stripe transfer funds to my account?

Based on the schedule you set in your Stripe dashboard, Stripe will transfer money to your bank account. The schedule can be found in tab Transfers be changed. You can also find an overview of the Stripe transfers to your bank account in your Stripe dashboard.

Please note that most banks only process your transfers on weekdays, so the transfer may sometimes take a few days longer.

9 - How does Stripe handle bogus cards and orders?

Stripe prevents fraud by tracking suspicious activity. For example, transactions for repeat orders are rejected. Stripe also works with global partners and credit card networks to monitor fraud.

One.com is not responsible for any problems with orders. All issues are handled directly by Stripe.

11 - Which currencies can I use?

In general, you can use the currency of the country in which you are located. The currencies available also depend on where your bank account is located.

Stripe charges for payments in a currency that is not linked to your bank account. This fee varies, but it is about 2%, which is added to the regular transaction.

To avoid this fee, you can link a bank account in the country to the currency of your choice. Payments in this currency will then be transferred to this account without any further fees.

You can accept payments from international customers if your bank account supports Stripe.

15 - Does One.com charge for using Stripe?

One.com does not charge you any fee. Stripe is included in your webshop subscription.

However, Stripe does charge a fee for every transaction.

16 - I'm having trouble connecting to Stripe.

If you receive a message that the account already exists when you want to log into Stripe, you may already have an account. Start the process again and log in with your existing Stripe account.

17 - How can I close my Stripe account?

You can easily remove your Stripe account from your webshop.

  1. Log into Control panel and choose Webshop.
  2. Go to Settings (Settings) and scroll to Payment methods (Payment Options).
  3. click on Remove stripe (Disconnect Stripe) to delete the Stripe account from your side.
