Will AC DC ever tour again

It could be THE year of AC / DC: Evidence is growing that Angus Young's band will release new material this year (it would be the first studio album since “Rock or Bust” in 2014), and / or that Australians will announce a world tour that could take them to Germany, Austria and Switzerland in 2020 or 2021. Read here first whether and when AC / DC will travel to the continent.

How likely is a tour?

Most likely. Band intimate Eddie Trunk has claimed that the musicians had long since put the finishing touches to current recordings in the studio. Former Twisted Sister singer Dee Snider stated that Angus Young would use guitar parts by Malcom Young for the record (Young died in 2017). And when a new record comes out, there will of course be a tour.

Who will be at the reunion?

Angus Young of course, Brian Johnson is considered recovered - no chance for Axl Rose, who at least made a good impression as a live singer at the time. Stevie Young is likely to replace the late Malcolm on rhythm guitar. Cliff Williams on bass is conceivable. The exciting question is who will sit on the drums - Chris Slade or Phil Rudd? Both think they have good chances.

AC / DC: live 2020 or 2021?

That depends on whether AC / DC are also touring halls or whether only stadiums are considered in this country - that was the case on the last tours. So they might not come until 2021, especially since it would slowly become scarce to book the largest open-air venues in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In any case, AC / DC would not have to worry about ticket sales: It would be assumed that the stadiums would be sold out in no time at all.
