Beverage What is juice

IS JUICE EQUAL TO JUICE?

NO! If you take a closer look, you will find that there are different types of fruit drinks. The distinction in FRUIT JUICES, - NECTARS and -JUICE DRINKS is not always easy for the end user.
These differences are clearly defined in so-called fruit juice regulations.

FRUIT JUICE:

This is a natural product and consists of 100 percent "liquid fruit". As a rule, nothing more is added to this. The EU fruit juice guidelines only allow up to 15 grams of sugar per liter to be added if the fruit is deficient in sugar due to the weather. This would of course have to be shown on the label.

The following applies to FRUIT JUICES:
Without any addition of Sugar, colorings and preservatives.

So pay attention to this top quality when buying - 100% juice

FRUIT NECTAR:

Fruit nectar is the name for fruit juices made from fruit juice or fruit pulp with the addition of water and sugar.
This is not a purely natural product. These drinks are usually mixed with sugar and water, as these naturally have too much fruit acid or pulp and would therefore not taste good in their pure natural state (e.g. sour cherries, apricots).
Depending on the type of fruit, the minimum fruit content is between 25% and 50%. To get clarity about the exact ingredients, it is advisable to take a look at the label. Up to 20% sugar may be added to fruit nectar.

The following applies to FRUIT NECTARS:
With the addition of water and sugar, but without Addition of Colorings and preservatives.

FRUIT JUICE DRINK:

Fruit juice drink is a fruity soft drink with a Fruit juice content, depending on the type of fruit, of at least 6% - 30%.

It is made from fruit juice with water and added sugar and natural fruit essences. Partly also with fruit acid.

Also here are no colorings or preservatives contain.
