Do popup ads work

How can we help you?

Notification options can easily be configured in your WhatsApp settings.

Change WhatsApp notification settings

Open WhatsApp and tap More options > Settings > Notifications.

Here's how you can set up notifications for messages, groups, and calls:

  • Decide whether to enable or disable tones for incoming and outgoing messages.
  • Customize the notification tone or ringtone.
  • Set the duration of the vibration.
  • Up to Android 9, you can choose whether to show pop-up notifications. This is a feature that displays notifications in the center of the screen.
  • On supported devices, select the color of the light used for notifications.
  • From Android 5 you can set the priority of notifications. This shows a preview of the notifications at the top of the screen and can be used to turn off pre-notifications.

Note: Disabling high priority notifications will result in WhatsApp notifications being placed lower on your screen.

To reset your notification settings, tap in the other options Settings > Notifications > More options > Reset notifications > RESET TO DEFAULT.
