What does Benedict mean

Benedict

My first son was always touched over my skin in the womb ... i.e. my belly was blessed ...;)
in quiet minutes I "asked" my unborn child myself (we had several names to choose from) ... whether it would be called "Benedict" ...
At first I wasn't sure, but because of the frequency and the clearly identical reactions, "Benedikt / Samuel" was also baptized that way ...
in elementary school age ..
he is still (now almost 21 years old), very happy with his name ...
he IS a blessed one ...
isn't that the most important thing to identify with ???
I believe that every person is precious, unique and valuable and has a task that only everyone can fulfill, i.e. fill with life ...
that's how God did it ..
this is called a "calling" ... just as only God can call a person in the depths of his heart ..
Incidentally, it is in the Bible that the apostle Paul said that children are blessed by him who believes ...
even if he himself, Benedict, does not yet have a personal relationship with Jesus, God the Father and the Holy Spirit, because one can only accept that in one's heart and in faith that Jesus Christ died for my sins and, most importantly, was also risen ... for everyone personally, that means also for you who are reading this right now,
believe and speak that ... then Jesus will come to you, you will be his
hear a quiet voice that guides and guides you, and the greatest happiness on earth comes to you ... 🙂 you will "know" where you came from and where you are going, and what the meaning of your life is,
you will never be the same, saved and redeemed
and free to walk in the joy of HIS LOVE ... you will never again be dependent on the love of other people ... of course that is beautiful and you can enjoy it ... you no longer need to chase after this human love, but can LOVE yourself from a pure heart ...
unprejudiced and unconditional, just as God loves you
…Blessed be…
A mother
Elisabeth
