The well-known Austria Trend Parkhotel Schönbrunn in the noble district of Hietzing - at the Hietzinger Tor in the palace gardens - was extensively renovated and modernized in the historical style of a grand hotel for a year and a half. The historic building, which was built in 1907 as the emperor's guest house with a ballroom and castle café that is still intact today, received a classic-modern facelift, preserving the flair of the imperial era. The 4-star hotel was extensively rebuilt, expanded, modernized and technically brought up to date. The main building, lobby, rooms, castle café, restaurant, winter garden and conference rooms received a new look. The reception is located in a new, representative place in the direction of the new main entrance. The hotel bar was relocated to a panoramic position. A new conference area was built adjacent to the hotel park. New entrances and exits as well as new elevators and staircases improve the internal development. The "internal operating areas" were relocated away from the guest area and a large ramp was created in the underground car park. The entire hotel complex was modernized in terms of fire protection, escape route situation and security technology. The building technology and ventilation were renewed and the energy efficiency of the house improved.
