How do withdrawals work in the context of payment processing
- When a buyer has purchased and paid for one of your items, the amount, minus applicable fees, is recorded as a Processing / Withdrawals being processed displayed. This means that the order is confirmed and you can send the item (s).
- The amount of money will usually be received within one working day after the order is confirmedAvailable payouts unless the amount has been withheld. If so, it may take longer.
- Withdrawal is usually instructed within two business days of order confirmation and the withdrawal status becomes Amount sent changed. After the instruction, it usually takes 1 to 3 working days for the amount to appear in your account and to be available to you.
- This time frame corresponds roughly to the usual bank processing deadlines.
- Once the withdrawal has been instructed, the money is no longer on eBay. eBay does not earn interest on sellers' money.
- Daily payout: If your buyer's order is confirmed on a holiday or weekend and your payouts are scheduled daily, the payout will be initiated 2 business days after the applicable holiday or weekend. For example, if the buyer's order is confirmed on Friday and the holiday falls on Monday, the payout will be initiated on Wednesday (2 working days) later.
- Weekly payout: Your payouts are scheduled weekly, the payout will be initiated in the next scheduled weekly payout, on Tuesday. For example, if the buyer's order is confirmed on Friday and the holiday falls on Monday, the payout will be initiated on Tuesday of the following week (8 days later).

When we instruct the withdrawal, we will email you and create a withdrawal ID so that you can easily track your transactions in withdrawal reports.
In order for sellers participating in payment processing to receive their payouts, they must provide a verified bank account. Payouts to a PayPal account are not possible.
Withdrawals in progress and available withdrawals
Processing / Withdrawals being processed: These amounts are not yet ready to be paid out. In general, amounts listed as Withdrawals in progress / Withdrawals in processare displayed, pending. However, you do not need to take any action.
Withheld amounts:These amounts are not ready to be paid out. For example, amounts are withheld when a buyer opens a dispute.
Available payouts: This is the amount that you will be paid out on your next payout. As a rule, the amounts shown are Available payouts displayed as the total of all completed transactions, minus any fees incurred and amounts withheld.
- If we process additional orders or refunds before your next payout, the amount shown as available may change.
- When you initiate a refund to a buyer and the under Available payoutsIf the specified amounts are not sufficient for this, we will collect the remaining amount from your payout bank account or your saved payment method.

When eBay withholds amounts
If an eBay Buyer Protection case or payment dispute is resolved in favor of your buyer, eBay may initiate a refund to the buyer on your behalf. In this case, we will deduct the amount from your available withdrawals and withhold it.
If your available payouts are not sufficient to cover the amounts you owe eBay, eBay will collect the amount from your payment method on file within 14 days. We can combine the amounts you owe us into one common collection amount. Please refer to your billing report for full details of these fees.
How to change your payout schedule
By default, withdrawals are initiated daily. But you can also choose to receive payouts weekly.
- The daily payouts take place from Monday to Friday and you will receive all amounts that were made in the previous 24 hours under Available payouts were posted.
- The weekly payouts are made on Tuesdays and you will receive all amounts from Monday to Sunday of the previous week under Available payoutswere posted.
If you want to change your payment plan, proceed as follows in the Seller Cockpit Pro:
- Go to the Payments tab in the Seller Cockpit Pro.
- Choose Withdrawal Settings.
- Change the frequency of your withdrawals from Every day to Weekly.
You can also change your payout schedule in My eBay under Payments.
If the buyer pays in a currency other than your payout currency, the amount will be converted into your payout currency. The exchange rate recorded at the time of the sale is used. You can find the course in the purchase details. This exchange rate will also be used in the event of a refund.
What to do when withdrawals fail
If for your payouts Returnedor Blocked is displayed, it could be because your banking information is incorrect or you may need to verify additional information before we can initiate withdrawals to your account.
